St. Thomas's Hall Canterbury.
This unprepossessing looking hall was actually a centre for many rock bands in the early seventies.
Some of the many bands who played there and who I saw there included:
Hawkwind, The Pink Fairies, Soft Machine, Robert Wyatt's Matching mole, Elkie Brookes and Robert Palmer's Vinegar Joe, Stray, T2, Barclay James Harvest, Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come and Pete Brown's Piblokto.

I remember Roxy Music were due to play but had to cancel due to Bryan Ferry having to have an op to remove his tonsils. I had the poster somewhere, but sadly it's gone.
